Due to the Skamotec being completely heat resistant and extremely strong, the fireplace installer will not need to use any other materials to either support the Skamotec or reduce any potential heat damage.

EASY TO INSTALL

Skamotec simplifies the construction process by reducing the materials needed to heat proof the fireplace and secure the cavity.

Due to the Skamotec being completely heat resistant and extremely strong, the fireplace installer will not need to use any other materials to either support the Skamotec or reduce any potential heat damage.

The Skamotec will screw and glue straight into existing wall and ceiling linings, so then all you have to do is plaster and paint straight over top of it. You will not only reduce the construction time, but also the cost!

LIGHT WEIGHT & SELF SUPPORTING

Skamotec is an extremely light material, meaning you do not need multiple people to carry it onto your site. However, just because it is light, does not make it weak.

This material is self-supporting so you do not have to use any steel or timber framing to secure it. It simply screws or glues onto the wall like any plasterboard or timber materials.

INSULATING

The Skamotec is an extremely insulating material which means it will stop any chance of heat damage to the wall materials – no cracks and no call backs!

Due to the insulating properties, the Skamotec creates a warm air chamber around the fireplace, which our skilled Spartherm installers will use to their advantage to capture more heat to warm the room.
